Your Billing System Wasn't Built for This

SaaS pricing has changed. Your billing stack probably hasn't. As usage-based and hybrid models become the default, finance teams are left stitching together spreadsheets, reconciling data manually, and closing books under pressure. The cost? Revenue leakage, audit risk, and forecasts no one trusts.

Our new Buyer's Guide for Modern SaaS Billing breaks down exactly what to demand from a revenue platform built for today's complexity — from automated usage billing to AI-native collections and rev rec. Whether you're evaluating vendors or rethinking your stack, this is your framework for getting it right.

Writer launched event-based triggers for Writer Agent, allowing agents to act automatically when business events happen across Gmail, Gong, Calendar, Drive, SharePoint, Slack, and more. The shift is from prompt-started assistants to agents that react to operational signals. Strategically, enterprise agents are moving closer to always-on workflow automation.

Citi launched Arc, an internal platform for employees to build and manage AI agents inside a secure system. Axios reports 180,000 Citi employees already use enterprise AI tools, and Arc is designed to centralize agents, monitoring, and controls. Strategically, Wall Street is moving from AI tools to governed agent operating systems.

Okta announced Okta for AI Agents, a platform to discover, register, govern, and revoke access for enterprise agents. The company says AI agents must become first-class identities, especially as “shadow agents” spread across companies. Strategically, identity is becoming the control plane for enterprise agent deployment.

BlueCat announced MCP Servers and expanded LiveAssist across its Intelligent NetOps platform. The goal is to give AI agents network identity, policy, and telemetry context so they can move from insight to coordinated action. Strategically, agentic AI is entering infrastructure operations where context and control matter most.

Your ads ran overnight. Nobody was watching. Except Viktor.

One brand built 30+ landing pages through Viktor without a single developer.

Each page mapped to a specific ad group. All deployed within hours. Viktor wrote the code and shipped every one from a Slack message.

That same team has Viktor monitoring ad accounts across the portfolio and posting performance briefs before the day starts. One colleague. Always on. Across every account.

JuliaHub raised a $65M Series B and launched Dyad 3.0, bringing autonomous agents into industrial digital twins. The company says teams can compress design, testing, and build cycles for systems like heat pumps, satellites, semiconductors, and utilities from months to minutes. Strategically, agentic AI is expanding from knowledge work into physical engineering workflows.

Keeper Security launched Keeper Agent Kit, letting AI coding agents securely retrieve secrets and manage infrastructure without exposing credentials in chat history or source control. It supports agents including Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and GitHub Copilot. Strategically, developer-agent adoption is creating a new secrets-management layer.

Daloopa integrated its structured financial data layer into Perplexity and Perplexity Computer through a BYOL model. Investment teams can use licensed, audit-ready data inside AI research workflows without API setup or tool switching. Strategically, financial research agents need trusted data pipes, not just better models.
