Anthropic rolled out a new “Remote Control” feature for its Claude Code AI coding environment, letting developers start a coding session locally in their terminal and continue it from a mobile device or browser — effectively untethering workflows from the desk. The synchronization layer bridges local CLI sessions with remote interfaces, keeping your state, file system, and tools intact while you switch devices.

Software Creation Hits a Historic Inflection Point

We’re seeing the biggest surge in software creation ever recorded. New website creation is up 40% YoY, new iOS apps nearly 50%, and GitHub code pushes jumped 35% in the US and ~30% in the UK — after years of flat growth. The chart looks like a hockey stick starting in late 2024.

The implication is clear: the barrier to building software has effectively disappeared. What matters now isn’t the ability to ship — it’s knowing what to build and having the taste to build it right.

Grok 4.20 — xAI’s Multi-Agent AI Goes Live in Beta

xAI has begun rolling out Grok 4.20 in public beta, a fundamentally new iteration of its AI chatbot that shifts from a single model to a four-agent debate architecture — with agents like Grok, Harper, Benjamin, and Lucas working in parallel, cross-checking and fact-checking each other before delivering responses. This multi-agent design reportedly reduces hallucinations by ~65% and has already outperformed rival models in real-world tests like live stock trading competitions, where variants of Grok 4.20 were among the few models to turn a profit.

Notable upgrades in 4.20 include a wide context window (hundreds of thousands of tokens) and multi-modal capabilities (text, image, video), making it more versatile for complex tasks than prior versions. The model is available on free tiers now, with enhanced performance and scaling (up to 16 agents) behind paid plans — signaling xAI’s push to make agent-assisted AI more practical and powerful for deep reasoning and real-world problem solving.

Transform Internal Comms Chaos Into Clarity

Atlassian announced “agents in Jira” (in open beta), positioning agents as in-product teammates that can take on work across the lifecycle (with guardrails) instead of only drafting content. The strategic signal: the system of record (Jira) is becoming the system of execution—so agent UX is shifting from “chat” to “embedded operations.”

Google shared practical guidance for getting better results from Lyria 3 inside the Gemini app. The key: be specific. Define genre, mood, era, instruments, and vocal style upfront — and use images or video for contextual inspiration. You can paste your own lyrics (use “Lyrics:” to anchor them) or let Lyria generate them, then iterate with refinements like tempo or emotional tone.

200+ AI Side Hustles to Start Right Now

While you were debating if AI would take your job, other people started using it to print money. Seriously.

That's not hyperbole. People are literally using ChatGPT to write Etsy descriptions that convert 3x better. Claude to build entire SaaS products without coding. Midjourney to create designs clients pay thousands for.
