0G Labs announced its pitch to become the blockchain infrastructure layer for autonomous agents, centered on its already-live Aristotle Mainnet. The company says agents need three primitives to operate independently—verified compute, persistent memory, and on-chain settlement—and positioned its stack as the place where agents can compute, remember, and transact without relying on centralized intermediaries. The release is promotional, but it is still relevant because it shows how the “agent economy” narrative is expanding beyond model and app layers into rails for memory, execution, and payment. That is one of the clearest signs this market is being framed as an infrastructure buildout, not just an app cycle.
As multi-agent systems grow in complexity, the need for mechanical governance has become critical. A Valencia-based startup has released "The Nervous System," an open-source Model Context Protocol (MCP) server designed to enforce behavioral rules across agentic teams. Currently managing 13 autonomous agents on a single VPS, the framework provides "preflight checks" that block unauthorized file edits, hash-chained audit trails for tamper-evident logging, and drift detection to ensure documentation stays in sync with code. This "file-based governance" approach offers a portable, human-readable alternative to heavy database-driven security layers.

Tencent launched ClawBot, a WeChat-integrated interface for the OpenClaw agent, turning China’s biggest messaging app into a direct control surface for autonomous AI tasks. The tool appears as a WeChat contact and lets users issue commands through chat, while OpenClaw handles actions like file transfers and email workflows. Strategically, this matters because it moves agents out of standalone demos and into a product with more than 1 billion monthly active users, which is a much stronger path to habitual usage and monetization. It also shows the China agent race shifting from model launches to distribution battles inside super-apps.
Security startup Manifold was reported on March 21 as having raised $8 million to build what it calls an AI Detection and Response platform for autonomous agents running on enterprise endpoints. The core pitch is runtime visibility: monitoring what agents do, what systems they touch, and when their behavior deviates from policy. The strategic implication is that enterprise agent adoption is creating a new security category beyond prompt filtering or model red-teaming: companies now need controls for agents that actually take actions on machines. That makes runtime governance one of the more credible infrastructure wedges in the agent stack right now.
