Visa & AWS Partner on Agentic Commerce – Visa and AWS have teamed up to embed Visa’s Intelligent Commerce platform into AWS, providing a secure payments layer for AI-driven transactions. The collaboration introduces open-source AgentCore blueprints for retail, travel, and finance agents – enabling AI shoppers and booking agents to autonomously complete purchases with tokenized payments and trusted authentication, a foundational step for the emerging agent-based economy.

Anthropic + Snowflake: $200M for Enterprise AI Agents – Anthropic and Snowflake announced a $200 million partnership to bring Claude AI models natively into Snowflake’s Data Cloud for 12,600+ customers. The multi-year deal includes jointly developing AI agents that can reason over enterprises’ structured and unstructured data securely – letting business users ask questions in plain English while Claude retrieves governed data and returns answers with over 90% accuracy on complex internal queries. It’s a major bet on agentic AI becoming a core tool for data-driven decision-making in large firms.

Salesforce Seals Informatica Deal to Boost Agentic AI – Salesforce completed its acquisition of data integration leader Informatica, strengthening the data foundation for its AI agent strategy. CEO Marc Benioff emphasizes that clean, unified data is crucial to effective AI agents, noting “Informatica turns fragmented enterprise data into context so every agent can reason, act, and deliver outcomes with precision”. The move underscores that trusted data pipelines are key to scaling enterprise agentic AI solutions across Salesforce’s customer base.
