Tekion unveiled T1 Pro alongside Salesperson AI, F&I Manager AI, and Accounts Payable AI for automotive retailers. T1 Pro acts as the unified interface and orchestration layer connecting agents across Tekion’s Automotive Retail Cloud.
The specialized agents are grounded in dealership data covering customer interactions, appointments, trade-ins, repair orders, financing, and accounting workflows. They join Tekion’s existing Scheduler AI, Technician AI, and Service AI products, creating a broader portfolio spanning sales, service, finance, and operations.
Strategically, Tekion is demonstrating how vertical software companies can build defensible agent systems using proprietary operational context that general-purpose assistants cannot easily replicate.
Opal Security introduced Agents in Opal, beginning with an AI-guided access-review system powered by its Paladin agent. Paladin groups low-risk permissions, explains the evidence behind its recommendations, and routes consequential decisions to a human reviewer.
Opal says the system can reduce access-review effort by as much as 90%, while preserving human approval for every certification. The broader product covers access requests, natural-language access intelligence, policy creation, and automated remediation on a shared access graph and audit trail.
Strategically, Opal is using agents to govern other human and machine identities, turning identity administration into a continuous, machine-scale process.

Kalshi developed an internal AI agent called Harrison to review and stress-test prediction-market contracts before they go live. The agent checks contract language for ambiguity, edge cases, and potential settlement disputes across markets covering politics, sports, economics, and other events.
Kalshi processes millions of wagers daily, making manual review increasingly difficult as the number and variety of contracts expand. Harrison reportedly supports internal operations rather than trading directly, showing how agents can automate judgment-heavy compliance and product-quality workflows.
Strategic signal: regulated platforms are beginning to deploy agents as internal control systems, not only as customer-facing assistants or revenue-generating products.

Databricks agreed to acquire security-data platform Panther Labs as it expands into agent-powered cybersecurity. Panther aggregates security information from multiple systems so automated agents can detect, investigate, and respond to threats with limited human intervention.
Financial terms were not disclosed, although Panther was valued at $1.4 billion after raising a $120 million Series B in 2021. The transaction is Databricks’ third cybersecurity acquisition and follows the March launch of its Lakewatch security product.
Strategically, Databricks is betting that enterprises facing machine-speed attacks will need agentic defenses built directly on the same data infrastructure that powers their AI workloads.
Kantata launched Expertise Agent, an adaptive system built for professional-services firms and integrated with the Kantata Expertise Engine. The agent can interpret cross-functional requests and dynamically create specialized agents to coordinate project management, resource planning, financial systems, and external tools.
Supporting capabilities include self-executing workflows, embedded generative business intelligence, and a proprietary knowledge graph connecting skills, delivery patterns, outcomes, and financial performance. Unlike fixed-purpose agents, Expertise Agent is designed to assemble the tools and subagents required for each task.
Strategically, Kantata is moving beyond packaged assistants toward domain-specific superagents that dynamically construct workflows around a firm’s institutional knowledge.
LinkSquares announced general availability of its all-agentic contract-lifecycle-management platform for new and existing customers. Its agents help teams process contract intake, accelerate reviews, surface obligations, monitor renewals, and analyze agreements after signature.
The company emphasizes full auditability, governance, and control as agents act across legal and business workflows. LinkSquares says early customers have reported time savings across intake, review, negotiation, and post-signature analysis, although it did not publish a standardized performance figure.
Strategically, the launch moves contract AI beyond document summarization toward continuously operating agents that turn agreement data into actions across the business.
