84% Deploy Gen AI Use Cases in Under Six Months – Real-Time Web Access Makes the Difference
Your product is only as good as the data it’s built on. Outdated, blocked, or missing web sources force your team to fix infrastructure instead of delivering new features.
Bright Data connects your AI agents to public web data in real time with reliable APIs. That means you spend less time on maintenance and more time building. No more chasing after unexpected failures or mismatches your agents get the data they need, when they need it.
Teams using Bright Data consistently deliver stable and predictable products, accelerate feature development, and unlock new opportunities with continuous, unblocked web access.
The Latest Agentic Development
Salesforce forecasts that Cyber Week (November 27–December 1) will generate $334 billion in global online sales, with AI agents and shopping assistants expected to influence approximately $73 billion of that total, establishing 2025 as the definitive first mainstream agentic commerce season where autonomous purchasing systems directly drive measurable revenue at unprecedented scale.
Salesforce reported that AI-powered shopping agents drove $36 billion in global digital sales on Thanksgiving, with the U.S. accounting for $8.6 billion. By 2 p.m. ET, global spending had already reached $13.1 billion a 7.9% year-over-year increase demonstrating that agentic commerce systems operate continuously even during holidays when human teams are offline, fundamentally shifting holiday retail dynamics and consumer purchasing patterns.
As Black Friday unfolds, agentic AI agents are reshaping holiday shopping by autonomously scouring deals, negotiating prices, and executing purchases on behalf of consumers. However, security experts warn of heightened fraud risks as sophisticated malicious bots increasingly mimic legitimate AI agents, requiring retailers to deploy advanced detection systems and standardized protocols to distinguish benevolent agents from harmful ones.
The World Economic Forum released a whitepaper, “AI Agents in Action: Foundations for Evaluation and Governance,” arguing that AI agents are moving from prototypes to production while governance lags behind. Based on survey data showing 82% of executives expect to adopt agents within 1–3 years, it lays out an architecture & role-based taxonomy for agents plus a staged governance model (monitoring, transparency, proportional safeguards) to keep multi-agent ecosystems auditable and safe.
NEC announced a new Agentic AI-powered sales support solution that auto-generates customer-specific proposals and “
discussion sheets” from meeting minutes, templates, and historical deal docs. The system uses two specialized agentic subsystems orchestrated over internal knowledge, plugs into existing CRM/sales tools, and will roll out in Japan from March 2026, with NEC dog-fooding it via a “Client Zero” program first.

Microsoft introduced Fara-7B, an open-weight “agentic small language model” designed specifically for computer-use agents that operate GUIs, browse, and automate PC workflows. Optimized to run on Copilot+ PCs and in Azure, Fara-7B targets lower latency and cost than frontier LLMs while reportedly outperforming larger models like GPT-4o on specialized computer-use benchmarks, signalling a push toward on-device agent stacks rather than solely cloud-hosted copilots.
