ChannelEngine said traffic from AI assistants and agents to retail sites has grown more than 1,300% over the past year, and announced AI Attribute Builder to help merchants structure product data for agent-driven discovery. The strategic implication is clear: agentic commerce is starting to reshape product visibility, and structured catalog data is becoming part of the new distribution stack.

Crypto exchange Toobit launched an open-source AI Agent Trade Kit that lets LLMs connect to the exchange via Model Context Protocol (MCP) and execute real-time trading actions. The kit includes 66+ tools, which makes it one of the clearer March 19 examples of agents being wired directly into transaction-capable financial infrastructure.

Darwinium released new research arguing that agentic commerce is expanding faster than anti-fraud systems can adapt. The headline numbers are notable: 97% of organizations reported more AI attacks, only 36% can stop fraud at any point in the journey, and just 52% can explicitly track or label AI-assisted fraud.

Rezolve Ai said it will showcase its end-to-end agentic commerce platform at Shoptalk and framed the market as an AI-mediated shift from search to transaction. More importantly, it attached real deployment numbers to the thesis, including 29x ROI at Eyebuydirect, 10% conversion lift at DFS, 35% higher visual search adoption at Myntra, and 50% growth in search-driven revenue at Rebag.

AI Video Is About to Flood the Internet

Runway and Pika Labs are rolling out new updates to their video generation tools, dramatically improving realism, motion, and editing control.

The newest models can now generate short cinematic clips from simple prompts, with better consistency and fewer visual glitches. This is pushing AI video from “cool demo” into usable content production.

The result? A coming explosion of AI-generated media. Social platforms may soon be flooded with content where it’s impossible to tell what’s real—shifting attention, creativity, and even trust in online content.

AI Is Quietly Replacing Customer Support

Companies are rapidly deploying AI agents to fully handle customer service emails, chats, refunds, and even complex problem resolution. What used to require large support teams is now being run by autonomous systems trained on company data.

This is happening quietly, without major announcements. Customers often don’t realize they’re interacting with AI at all.

The bigger implication: customer support is becoming one of the first major job categories to be almost fully automated at scale—and it’s happening faster than most people expected.

AI Startups Are Racing to Replace “Middle Work”

A new category of startups is targeting what some founders call “middle work”—tasks that sit between decision-making and execution (spreadsheets, reports, coordination, documentation).

These companies aren’t building general AI—they’re building highly specific agents that replace entire workflows inside industries like finance, law, and logistics.

This is where AI is winning fastest: not replacing CEOs or creatives—but eliminating the layers of work in between. The result is leaner companies, fewer employees, and more automation in core operations.
