Speechmatics and Cekura announced an integration that brings Speechmatics’ speech-to-text engine into Cekura’s testing and production monitoring stack for voice agents. The pitch is straightforward: most voice-agent failures show up in production, not in clean demos, so teams need to test against accents, noise, multi-speaker audio, rapid dialogue, and mid-sentence language switching before deployment. This is a useful infrastructure signal because it shows the agent stack maturing around evaluation and QA tooling, especially for sectors like healthcare where transcription errors can directly affect outcomes.
Coder announced a $90 million Series C led by KKR, with the company pitching itself as infrastructure for governed human and AI-driven software development. The release is notable for two reasons: KKR said more than 80% of enterprise developers are already using or planning to use coding agents, and said more than half of commits inside its own environment are now happening within Coder-managed systems. That makes this less a generic devtools funding round and more a bet that coding agents will need secure, standardized, auditable workspaces before large enterprises let them loose at scale.
88% resolved. 22% loyal. Your stack has a problem.
Those numbers aren't a CX issue — they're a design issue. Gladly's 2026 Customer Expectations Report breaks down exactly where AI-powered service loses customers, and what the architecture of loyalty-driven CX actually looks like.
Alien raised $7.1 million in pre-seed funding to build identity infrastructure for humans and AI agents, according to SiliconANGLE’s April 1 report. The company is tackling a foundational issue for the agent economy: if agents are increasingly acting on behalf of users in commerce and online services, the web needs stronger primitives for trust, accountability, and verification. Strategically, this is one of the clearest signs that investor attention is moving into the “identity and reputation layer” of the agent economy, not just the agents themselves.
Lofty introduced Homeowner Agent, a new product inside its Lofty AOS platform designed to help real estate agents generate seller leads automatically. According to the company, the agent monitors an existing database, identifies signs of selling intent, and nurtures prospects with personalized market and property insights until they are ready to act. The strategic angle here is practical, not theoretical: agentic AI is getting embedded into revenue workflows in vertical SaaS, where the winning use case is not broad autonomy but continuous, domain-specific follow-up tied to a clear commercial outcome.
