🗺️ Agents Landscape Map
Business Insider reported that Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said AI agents should be managed like employees, with identities, permissions, sandboxes, policies, and audits.
Nadella said managing many agents is already becoming cognitively difficult, noting that he can run 100 AI coding agents at once.
Microsoft is addressing this with Agent 365, using Entra for digital identity and network access and Purview for labeling AI-generated data.
The core message is that enterprises need security, containment, manageability, and observability before they can trust large fleets of agents.
Strategic signal: the next enterprise software layer is identity and governance for non-human workers.
Reuters reported that Xinhuanet, owned by China’s official Xinhua news agency, plans to invest more than 1.1 billion yuan, or about $162.38 million, into an “authoritative” AI agent.
The system, called Xinhua Yudian, is designed to help users study, research, and disseminate Xi Jinping Thought.
The agent will also provide current affairs and political news content and act as a citation checker for politically sensitive official writing.
The project will be built on Xinhua’s state-run corpus and fits into China’s broader AI+ strategy to spread AI adoption across sectors.
Strategic signal: governments are beginning to treat AI agents as narrative infrastructure and ideological distribution systems.

Salesforce announced a landmark partnership with FIFA World Cup 2026 and FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027.
The deal brings Agentforce 360 and Slack into tournament operations, workforce coordination, host city collaboration, stakeholder communications, and fan engagement.
Salesforce said the 2026 men’s tournament will span 16 host cities across Mexico, Canada, and the U.S., with an expected global audience of more than 5 billion.
For the 2027 women’s tournament, autonomous agents will reason over tournament data to deliver always-on, personalized fan support across FIFA digital platforms.
Strategic signal: agentic CRM is moving into global event operations, where real-time coordination and fan experience become AI-agent workflows.
Cisco used Cisco Live U.S. to position Cloud Control, Cisco IQ, Live Protect, and agentic security as the foundation for the agentic AI era.
The company said Cloud Control lets humans and agents manage critical infrastructure together from a unified interface.
Cisco also demonstrated how Cloud Control can manage autonomous agents, apply policy, and test agent actions through digital twins before delegation.
The company framed this as essential because AI-enabled attacks can map networks in minutes and overwhelm human-speed defense.
Strategic signal: networking giants are turning agent governance into infrastructure, not a dashboard feature.
Gravitee published details on its AI Gateway inside Gravitee Gamma, positioning AI Agent Management as a new product category.
The gateway brings AI agents, APIs, and events under one platform, with Authorization Management as the shared policy layer.
It supports LLM, MCP, and A2A traffic through one runtime, giving enterprises a place to enforce authentication, authorization, and policy.
This matters because agent systems increasingly call tools, APIs, and other agents across distributed environments.
Strategic signal: agent infrastructure is converging with API management, because agents need controlled access to everything.
