Amazon revealed a new Lab126 R&D group focused on “agentic” AI and robotics. Based at its hardware division, the team will develop an agentic AI framework for Amazon’s robotics (e.g. warehouse robots), aiming to give its automated systems more autonomous “skills” beyond fixed routines (Source)

Workday launched a developer toolset for AI agents – including a new Agent Gateway (connectors for third-party agents and agent-to-agent collaboration), AI widgets, and expanded APIs. These tools let enterprises plug external autonomous agents into Workday’s HR system of record, enabling unified agent orchestration within Workday’s platform (Source)

Oro Labs launched a no-code AI Agent Builder for its procurement orchestration platform, enabling teams to design and deploy custom agents for tasks such as risk reviews, fraud detection, and autonomous negotiation.
