Google Turns 13 Agent Patterns Into Production Blueprints

Google Cloud published 13 hands-on demonstrations covering the full Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform lifecycle: building, deploying, governing, evaluating, and coordinating agents. Its new Agents CLI gives coding agents seven specialized skills that can scaffold, test, deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot ADK-based agents directly from an editor.

The examples include agents that run for weeks, human-approved expense agents, MCP-connected data agents, dynamic agent-generated interfaces, and multi-agent pipelines spanning ADK, CrewAI, and LangGraph.

Strategically, Google is turning abstract platform capabilities into repeatable enterprise architectures and making coding agents the interface for building other agents.

Emergent Hits a $1.5B Valuation After Users Build 12M Apps

Emergent raised a $130 million Series C at a $1.5 billion valuation, bringing total funding to $230 million and making the company a unicorn within roughly one year of launch. The company says users have created more than 12 million applications using autonomous agents that build CRMs, internal tools, marketplaces, ERPs, and consumer applications from natural-language instructions. Emergent’s valuation reportedly increased fivefold in four months.

Strategically, the round suggests that agentic software development is expanding beyond professional programmers into a much larger population of business users and founders.

PUDU Puts One Agent Brain Across More Than 130,000 Robots

Pudu Robotics presented its “One Brain, Multiple Embodiments” architecture alongside the first offline public appearance of its PUDU D7 semi-humanoid robot. The shared system combines PuduAgent OS, vision-language models, memory, safety guardrails, and specialized action modules that can operate across humanoids, delivery robots, cleaning robots, and other hardware.

The D7 can carry 14 kilograms, operate at heights approaching two meters, and perform warehouse, material-handling, and high-reach picking tasks. Because Pudu reports more than 130,000 robots deployed across 85 countries and regions, improvements to the shared agent layer could potentially spread across a large installed fleet rather than a single robot model.

a16z Backs a “Computer for Every Agent” With $20M

Runta raised a $20 million seed round led by Andreessen Horowitz, with The Information reportedly valuing the company above $100 million. Runta gives each agent an isolated, stateful operating environment with restrictions on which files, production systems, inboxes, and payment credentials it can access. The company’s thesis is that agents need something closer to a secure personal computer than another lightweight sandbox.

Strategically, secure agent runtimes are emerging as foundational systems software as businesses allow agents to use real credentials and take consequential actions.

Reo.Dev Raises $11.3M to Track Agents That Buy Software

Reo.Dev raised an $11.3 million Series A, bringing its total funding to $15.3 million, to expand its AI-powered sales-intelligence platform for companies selling technical products. Its Developer Knowledge Graph covers more than 100 million engineers, 3,000 technologies, and 250 technical functions, while the new Agent Intent Gateway identifies purchase signals generated when AI agents interact with products through MCP. Customer DataHub reportedly generated $1.01 million in pipeline during one quarter, while Unstructured.io attributes 40% of its pipeline to Reo.Dev signals.

Strategically, the company is preparing B2B sales systems for a market in which software agents—not only humans—research, compare, and eventually purchase technical products.
