Norm Becomes Legal AI’s Agentic Unicorn

Norm Ai raised a $120 million Series C at a $1.2 billion valuation, led by Khosla Ventures. The company says it has now raised more than $260 million since founding less than three years ago. Norm’s core thesis is “agentic law,” combining AI agents with attorney supervision through Norm Law LLP. The company says clients representing more than $30 trillion in assets under management use Norm Ai.

Strategically, this pushes legal AI beyond research and drafting into governed agent workflows, legal operations, and outcome-priced services.

Figma Buys Bud to Push Agentic App Building

Figma acquired the team behind Bud, a YC-backed vibe-coding and AI agent platform formerly known as Orchids. Bud had evolved from app generation into an agent platform that could access services, browse the web, write code, and automate tasks. TechCrunch reported that Bud and Orchids will shut down by July 18, with users asked to migrate their projects. The deal fits Figma’s broader move from design canvas into app-building, following Figma Make, coding-agent integrations, and its own agent features.

Strategically, Figma is signaling that design tools are becoming execution surfaces where agents turn ideas into working software.

Accenture and Google Package Agents for the Midmarket

Accenture Edge and Google Cloud launched a suite of agentic AI solutions for mid-market companies. The offering targets companies with roughly $300 million to $3 billion in annual revenue. It packages Accenture IP with Google Cloud’s Gemini Enterprise app, Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform, Agentic Data Cloud, and AI Threat Defense. The partners are focusing on customer intelligence, customer experience, cybersecurity, agentic operations, industry solutions, and workforce enablement.

Strategically, this turns enterprise-grade agent infrastructure into a prebuilt services motion for companies that want production agents without assembling the full hyperscaler, data, and security stack themselves.

eToro Puts Trading Agents Inside Its App

eToro unveiled a rebuilt AI-first mobile app with Tori, a proactive AI agent at the center of the investing experience. Tori surfaces portfolio insights, market signals, and explanations for price movements. The company says Tori can also deliver insights through WhatsApp and Apple Watch. The biggest agentic feature is “agent-powered portfolios,” where users can build or copy AI agents that trade around the clock inside dedicated sub-accounts.

Strategically, eToro is moving agentic AI from advisory UX into delegated investing workflows, where trust, controls, and regulation will matter as much as convenience.
