🗺️ Agents Landscape Map

Sierra introduced Horizon, a platform for agents that pursue long-running business outcomes rather than completing one conversation at a time. Horizon agents can coordinate dozens of calls and messages over days, weeks, or months to originate loans, obtain healthcare prior authorizations, schedule referrals, reduce churn, close sales, or arrange test drives.
Sierra says its existing Agent OS supports hundreds of companies, including almost half of the Fortune 50. The bigger strategic shift is commercial: customers pay for completed business outcomes rather than token usage, while the accumulated interaction history becomes a proprietary customer-data moat.

Intel and Google Cloud expanded their partnership to deploy Gemini Enterprise across engineering, supply-chain, chip-design, marketing, communications, and corporate workflows. Employees will receive a central hub for building and deploying line-of-business agents, alongside coding agents capable of automating complex development workflows.
Early pilots can identify internal experts, prepare executive messaging, and produce campaign materials across several channels. Strategically, this is a flagship example of an industrial company moving from isolated copilots toward an enterprise-wide agent platform.
[Webinar] 8 levels of context maturity in AI-native development
AI is in your development workflow. While the token spend shows it, the throughput doesn't. The human is very much still in the loop, and that's a context problem. Join live (FREE) on Jul 23 to see why teams get stuck and how leading teams use a context engine to fix it.

NVIDIA announced a national physical-AI infrastructure project in Japan with Noetra and industry partners. The planned Vera Rubin AI factory will contain 13,750 Vera CPUs and 27,500 Rubin GPUs, supporting physical-AI development across manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, and telecommunications. NVIDIA describes it as the first national infrastructure designed specifically for physical AI. The scale shows that agent infrastructure is expanding beyond software workflows into nationally coordinated robotics and industrial systems.
An IDC study sponsored by Commvault surveyed 539 North American IT and resilience leaders, about 85% of whom had experienced a cyber incident. Ninety percent said identity-management improvements are needed to address agentic-AI risks, while 58.7% believe significant changes or a complete overhaul will be necessary. Only 26.7% have dynamic role-based access controls supporting AI and analytics, and 24.7% have documented and tested Active Directory or Entra ID recovery capabilities. The findings suggest non-human agent identities could scale much faster than the systems built to govern them.

Roblox introduced Build, a mobile feature that turns a natural-language prompt into a basic playable game, including environments, characters, sound, and gameplay mechanics. A public alpha begins July 28 in New Zealand, while Roblox is separately developing playtesting, analytics, and experimentation agents to help creators improve engagement, retention, and monetization. Those agents are expected in the coming months. The larger opportunity is not merely prompt-to-game generation, but automating the full testing and optimization lifecycle after a game is created.
