Alibaba Combines a 2.4-Trillion-Parameter Model With a Workplace Agent

Alibaba launched Qwen3.8-Max alongside QwenWork, a workplace agent platform now in public beta in China. Qwen3.8-Max uses 2.4 trillion total parameters but activates 95 billion per request, supports a one-million-token context window and targets long-horizon coding, research and business tasks. QwenWork brings autonomous desktop, cloud and collaboration workflows into one system and is set to integrate with DingTalk, which serves more than 20 million organizations. Alibaba is combining the model, agent runtime and enterprise distribution in one stack.

Zenity Raises $125 Million to Police Enterprise Agents

Zenity raised a $125 million Series C led by Norwest, with SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Hitachi Ventures, LG Technology Ventures and Qumra Capital joining the round. The 230-person company monitors agent intent, permissions, tools and actions across regulated enterprises.
