The Agent Economy Gets Its Missing Pieces: Identity, Trust, and Revenue

Where to Invest $100,000 Right Now, According to Experts
Investors face a dilemma. When the S&P 500 finished its worst quarter since 2022 last month, diversifiers like bonds and bitcoin fell too.
Even with the turnaround in mid-April, analysts at Goldman Sachs and Vanguard have projected low-single-digit annualized returns from 2024-2034.
Bloomberg asked where experts would personally invest $100,000 for their March monthly edition.
One answer that surfaced for a second time? Art.
It's what billionaires like Bezos and the Rockefellers have privately used to diversify for decades.
Why?
Appreciation. The ArtPrice100 Index outpaced the S&P 500 overall from 2000 to 2025
Low-correlation. The postwar contemporary segment has moved independently of traditional investments like stocks since ‘95.*
Resilience. A scarce, physical, and global asset class with decades of demonstrated demand.
Thanks to the world's premier art investing platform, now anyone can invest in works featuring legends like Banksy, Basquiat, and Picasso, without needing millions.
Shares in new offerings can sell quickly but...

🗺️ Agents Landscape Map
Zendesk announced the end-of-support timeline for AI agents Essential and legacy AI agent functionality. Development ends on August 31, 2026, and the affected legacy functionality reaches end of service on December 10, 2026. The announcement applies to legacy features such as bot builder and autoreplies with articles, but not to customers on the AI agents Advanced add-on.
This is a product-cycle signal that older chatbot-era infrastructure is being phased out as vendors push customers toward more capable AI agent platforms. For enterprises, the practical implication is migration planning: legacy automation may soon become operational debt.
The Linux Foundation announced its intent to launch the Agent Name Service, a trusted identity infrastructure for AI agents. The proposal extends DNS-style trust to autonomous agents so they can be verified, discovered, and governed across the open internet. This matters because agent-to-agent and agent-to-service interactions need a neutral identity layer before enterprises can safely automate high-value workflows. Strategically, ANS positions agent identity as core internet infrastructure, not just another vendor feature. If adopted broadly, it could become one of the foundational standards behind the emerging agentic web.
Amazon launched Alexa+ Agentic Ads, a new ad format that lets customers discover, ask questions, and complete purchases inside a conversation. Initial partners include Papa Johns for food ordering and artists such as Beck, Jill Scott, and Omar Courtz for ticket sales.
The experience is available on Echo Show devices and points toward ads that do not just influence intent but execute transactions. For marketers, this compresses the funnel from impression to checkout into a single agent-led interaction. For the broader agent economy, Amazon is making commerce agents part of the advertising stack.

Invoca introduced Nico, an AI revenue conversion agent for marketing-driven phone, web, and text leads. Nico is designed to respond across voice and SMS, qualify intent, book appointments, drive sales, and connect conversations back to revenue outcomes. Invoca highlights a response-time gap: 56% of consumers expect a reply within one hour after submitting a form, but only 36% receive one.
The product targets considered-purchase industries such as healthcare, home services, financial services, insurance, automotive, and telecom. Strategically, Nico shows agents moving deeper into revenue operations, where speed-to-lead and attribution directly affect sales.
Expel extended Ruxie, its AI SOC manager, with new agentic capabilities across the threat lifecycle. The new workflows cover enrichment, context building, detection, detection engineering, triage, investigation, response, reporting, and collaboration. Expel says the capabilities are already in production inside customer MDR deployments.
This matters because AI-powered attacks are compressing the time between initial access and impact, making human-paced security operations harder to sustain. Expel’s strategy is to match machine-speed threats with human-led but agent-accelerated security operations.
Virtue AI announced Shadow AI, an extension of its AgentSuite-Blue platform for discovering and monitoring unapproved AI tools and agents across enterprises. The company says agents are increasingly appearing inside laptops, SaaS tools, browser extensions, developer workflows, and enterprise applications without formal security review.
Shadow AI provides endpoint-level discovery and behavioral monitoring built around how agents plan, act, call tools, and evolve. The launch addresses a governance gap that traditional EDR and XDR tools were not designed to handle. Strategically, this frames “shadow AI agents” as the next version of shadow IT.

Last week Viktor opened 14 pull requests, closed two month-end books, drafted a board update, deployed three landing pages, and triaged 600 support tickets. From inside Slack and Microsoft Teams. 20,000+ teams now run this way.
