🗺️ Agents Landscape Map
Deloitte introduced new agentic capabilities within its software engineering platform and GovConnect.ai for public-sector organizations. Agents can retrieve information across multiple databases and execute complex workflows around existing government infrastructure rather than requiring agencies to replace legacy systems first. That makes agents a potentially important modernization layer for organizations where rip-and-replace projects are expensive, slow and constrained by security and compliance requirements.
Kyndryl introduced Agentic Modernization, turning its engineering expertise into predefined agentic workflows delivered through Kyndryl Bridge. The platform is already used by more than 1,400 customers to deploy, orchestrate and govern automation and agents. Kyndryl's accompanying survey found that while 77% of 1,100 business and technology leaders have scaled generative AI across multiple functions, only 32% are achieving one of their most desired outcomes. Kyndryl is betting that repeatable agent workflows can turn AI experimentation into continuous enterprise modernization.
Pinecone made Nexus generally available, positioning it as a knowledge engine that compiles proprietary enterprise data and workflows into governed, agent-ready knowledge. Pinecone says Nexus can cut token costs by more than 90% versus agentic RAG, answer queries up to 30× faster, and exceed 90% task accuracy in its tests. On Sierra's τ-Knowledge benchmark, Nexus lifted GPT-5.5 from a 46.4% task-completion rate to 47.4% while reducing cost per task by 74%. The strategic bet is that proprietary knowledge—not the underlying foundation model—becomes the defensible layer in enterprise agent stacks.

DXC partnered with Primary to provide managed Zero Trust controls for AI agents and enterprise AI applications. The system applies identity, policy enforcement, visibility and compliance controls to how agents access organizational data and resources. As enterprises grant agents broader permissions, traditional security built around human identities and devices is proving insufficient. DXC's move reinforces agent identity and authorization as a growing standalone enterprise-security category.
Cryptoworth introduced an AI Reconciliation Agent that investigates portfolio discrepancies such as duplicate transactions, missing activity, excluded entries and unexplained balance differences, then recommends corrective actions. The agent cannot modify records without explicit human approval, and actions remain auditable and reversible. Companies can also choose between Claude, OpenAI and Gemini models using customer-managed API keys and budget controls. Financial reconciliation illustrates a compelling model for high-stakes agents: autonomous investigation combined with tightly controlled execution.
A Caylent survey of 200 senior leaders at enterprises with 1,000+ employees found that 59.5% already have agents operating autonomously in production. Another 98% said there are circumstances under which they would allow agents to make production changes, while 67.5% are evaluating or deploying automated testing, 60.5% automated incident response and 43% agents that write or commit code. The data suggests willingness to delegate real authority to agents is already high; governance and architecture are becoming the bigger constraints.
